Paul's Profile
Paul is a Partner in the firm's Commercial Team - completing all types of property and commercial work for his clients but with particular specialisation in the areas of Banking and Finance Law.
An expert in drafting and understanding financing documentation. Paul adds value for his commercial clients by making them aware of the pitfalls in common loan structures and by steering them through the minefield of dangerous situations that commercial borrowings can place a client in.
Paul also acts for many Lenders (both institutions and individuals) ensuring that their documents are produced quickly, are clear in their requirements and hence are able to be enforced with a minimum of difficulty when this becomes necessary.
Paul's attitude to his work is to recognise that each situation requires his personal attention and expertise and his goal is to achieve a timely, cost effective and accurate service for his clients whilst providing outstanding service no matter how complex the situation may initially seem.
Paul has presented numerous seminars to clients, commercial clients (including Lending Institutions) and to other interest groups. He has also provided free legal advice to the public at the community law centre and is currently a trustee of a school board of trustees. Outside of work, Paul is kept busy by his wife and two daughters and his love of watching and playing sports.
