Summer Clerking

We have an opportunity for two motivated enthusiastic Summer Clerks to join our firm over the summer of 2011/2012 based in our city office in Hazeldean Park.

Our firm is recognised as being in the top 20 law firms nationally and in the top three law firms in Christchurch and we carry out a broad range of legal work.  Our Summer Clerks would be exposed to a wide variety of work during their time with us.

In the current economic climate this position would suit students in their last two years of study and would also suit graduates who are looking for full time work.  The opportunity for graduates to get some Summer Clerking experience may assist with permanent job prospects both with our firm and elsewhere.

• An informative and interesting CV helping us to understand them fully as a person rather than only as a student.
  
• Good grades in their law papers.
  
• Proven ability to get on with others, work well under pressure and to be completely reliable.
  
• Self motivation, drive and enthusiam to complete every task to the very best of their ability.
