Max is a Senior Solicitor working with Partners Glenn Cooper and Kirsten Graham on litigation matters in a variety of fields.

Since 2019 he has lived and worked in Christchurch providing advice and refining skills in court after prior experience in Invercargill. This has included work both on large scale litigation and appearances on smaller matters.

Max has specialised knowledge on matters of debt collection and in defamation, following work acting as Junior Counsel for Sir Tim Shadbolt in 2018. In addition, he has completed volunteer work for both the Citizens advice Bureau and Community Law, and was acting President of the Invercargill Young Practitioners Society in 2019.

"I value practical advice and giving clients the ability to make informed decisions about their affairs. Clients know their own businesses and situation, and know that good legal advice can be both a valuable risk management tool and a cost saving one. I am a trusted advisor to my clients and enable them to make informed and rational decisions in what can be stressful situations. Clients know that they can rely on me to be honest with them about their position, and give them the best advice on how to make the most of whatever legal systems they are engaged with."

He provides advice on a daily basis to both local businesses and individuals, and enjoys providing clients with cost effective solutions to their problems. Clients know that they can rely on Max to advise them in a practical way on their options and provide sensitive and thoughtful counsel.
