Born and raised in Hamilton, Mikayla is an employment lawyer who joined our team in 2025. Prior to joining Cavell Leitch, Mikayla gained experience at a boutique firm in Hamilton.
Mikayla has experience assisting both employers and employees on a range of matters, including personal grievances, disciplinary and performance processes, restructures, individual employment agreement reviews, policy drafting and post-employment obligations. Mikayla enjoys the ever-changing nature of employment law and working closely with clients on solving workplace problems.
Outside the office, Mikayla enjoys getting outside, exploring new places and scoping out the best cafes.
