“My Clerkship at Cavell Leitch has been a great starting point in my career. From day one I felt like I was a part of the team, and given the support and opportunity to make a meaningful contribution. I had exposure to a wide variety of legal work in different areas, which was so valuable to help navigate which direction I want to go in the future. For me, Cavell’s culture is what sets it apart, everyone genuinely wants to help each other succeed and collectively contributes to a vibrant workplace environment.”

“One of the unique things about the Cavell Leitch Summer Clerkship programme is being able to rotate around all of the eight specialist teams in the firm and experience first-hand how the different legal expertise operate. This experience has given me the opportunity to be a part of great teams that have involved me in interesting and meaningful work throughout each rotation. The culture at Cavell has made me feel welcomed and supported, with great supervisors, buddies and colleagues who made sure I got the best out of my time at Cavell.”

“Since joining the property team I have already gained invaluable experience and Cavell has provided a seamless transition from study to work. Outside of the work, Cavell has provided endless opportunities to get to know and build relationships with other members of the firm, which really helps to make you feel a part of the team.”

“From day one I was offered challenging and meaningful work and I truly felt like one of the team. My graduate rotation gave me the opportunity to work alongside some of New Zealand’s brightest legal minds and to find my area of interest in a safe and exciting environment. It also gave me endless opportunities to grow my confidence and profile as a young lawyer. I am so grateful to have started my career at Cavell.”
